Great time at Molly's Dune! The place was everything we hoped for. It was comfortable and spacious.

Chill weekend at the beach with our daughter and her family. Canon was pretty clean, and had enough kitchen supplies and appliances for meal prep. It’s an easy quarter mile walk to the beach. Neighborhood feels safe, and pretty light traffic; more golf carts than cars. The bed we slept on was extremely hard, and our heads were lower than our feet, which made for a couple of restless nights . No complaints from those in the other two bedrooms. I would recommend this location. Keitha at Jamaica Beach Realty was helpful with the rental, and got us a better price than using VRBO or AirB&B.

We brought our two grandsons to experience the beach and we were not disappointed. Molly Dune met all our needs.

We paid quite a bit of money for this stay and I was pretty disappointed. When I choose a house rather than a hotel, I do so because I’d like to be at least as comfortable, if not more. The house was very dirty when we arrived. Dog hair everywhere- I had to vacuum before we could unpack. And the toilets didn’t look like they had been cleaned in a while. We stayed on the beach and there were no beach towels available. There was also no hand soap, extra toilet paper or paper towels. For 6 of us in one house for 5 days, one roll of toilet paper wasn’t going to cut it. We had to go to the store and purchase our own essentials, which is very dissatisfying on vacation. The house was nice and convenient to the beach but those were about the only positives.

We had a lovely time here as a multigenerational family for a week! Everything we needed and a nice, close walk to the beach.

The house is comfortable and decorated nicely. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach. Unfortunately when we arrived we found the bed in the master bedroom unmade. A call to the management company resolved the problem when a maid was sent. The other unwelcoming issue was the lack of ANY soap or paper products. The listing does say to bring you own but we have never stayed in a property that had empty toilet paper holders when we arrived. And beach houses should have beach towels

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was well-kept, clean and easy to get comfortable and relax. There was plenty of room for our family.

It was further away from the tourist side of things which we preferred and we felt completely safe and secure where we were.

It was very helpful to have a washer and dryer for washing clothes and towels. The kitchen was great for making our own meals and the charcoal grill was handy.

It was close enough to the beach that we could walk down the street and around the corner to get to there.

Overall, we loved it and would certainly book this place again!

Previous reviews accurately describe this VRBO. It is managed by a rental agency, not the owner, so no VRBO perks (except bed linens and bath towels). Bring everything else. Beach supplies fairly rusted and chairs are the worst! Under the house space great for little kids to run around, fencing nice to contain the kids. Beware, water shut off in reach of said kids-can turn off water to house! Fun times!

Never having been to Galveston Island before, I was hesitant to book a hotel for my family. I found Molly’s Dune to be a great alternative. With three great bedrooms and pullout couch there was room for the eight of us. The fully equipped kitchen made meals a breeze. With the beach within walking distance and a short drive to Pleasure Pier and shopping we had a blast. The house was clean and comfortable and accommodated all of our needs. The booking staff were friendly and helpful. I will be booking another stay in the future.

WE really enjoyed our stay at Molly's Dune! It was perfect for us. Family of 4. We rented a golf cart and it was an easy and close ride to the beach. House was clean. I loved the customer service and felt taken care of! I would highly suggest this property!

Loved Molly’s Dune. Super clean, decorated and furnished with taste. Open kitchen and eating area. Covered front deck was so relaxing . I will be back!

We got this house last minute, I was afraid of the condition, but not that bad at the end.
Location is good, we walk to the beach, is not in front the beach, but it was ok,
House is good, enough space for 6-7 people. I do not think accommodate 8.
I would recommend some deep cleaning and better maintenance in general and for sure Remove/ Replace the BBQ. The gas one is broken and the charcoal is way to small for a house that claims o accommodate 8.

Came home with small red itchy bites on my back. Looked it up on Wikipedia- bed bug bites. Slept on master bedroom. Property Mgt company needs to make several repairs to home. Outside grill needs to be thrown away.

My wife and I are expecting a new baby in just a few short weeks (our 5th!). We recently found out that our baby has a rare congenital heart defect and will require open surgery immediately after birth and several weeks in the hospital. We decided to take a last minute vacation with our family, knowing the next few months will be challenging. We are so grateful Molly’s Dune was available! The home was in a beautiful location on our favorite part of the island. It was steps from the beach and had everything we needed for our large family. In fact, it was so great, we extended our stay by two nights! The Wolvertone team were a delight to work with and we can’t recommend them enough!

This was our first time in Galveston. The house was great. Perfect size for our family. Had everything we needed. Not far from Pleasure Pier or Schlitterbahn.

We had a great time during our stay. Plenty of room to move and relax, without feeling like you were right on top of one another. Amenities on site were fantastic, with a few exceptions. There was no dustpan for sweeping the floors. Also, the inside handle on the front door was not secured properly, so every time you tried to open the door, it would come off in your hand unless you remember to have a kung fu grip. Thirdly, the propane for the grill ran out after 1 1/4 use, had to utilize the range to finish "grilling" salmon and steak (Not ideal). Lack of beach towels is a slight annoyance, however I can see both sides. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation, eating lots of great food and experiencing amazing adventures. Loved our stay at Molly's Dune. The house was well stocked, clean and cheerful. We had two boys, 4 and 2 who loved playing downstairs after a day at the beach. The adults loved the porch in the evening after cooking great seafood. Everyone loved the house and had a great time.

It was great nice to Beatle to come and go as we like!

Home is very well stocked with all your needs! Lovely layout to best enjoy company and be together. Location is very family friendly and safe. Beautiful house!! Definitely will be back again!

It was very quiet, relaxing. There was eight of us that stayed for a few days. There was plenty of room. A short walk to the beach. We would sit on the deck and list to the Gulf of Mexico. We are ready to go back!

The BEST! We loved this home from the moment we pulled up. It is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was super clean and comfortable. We even loved how it was decorated! You felt at the beach even in the home. The walk to the beach was easy and with all the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and wagon available for use it made it so easy. The only thing you need to bring is swimsuits and beach towels. We would stay here again. None of us wanted to leave! Thank you Mollys Dune for the wonderful week!

A charming and well-appointed house. We were completely satisfied and will definitely request Molly's Dune again.

My family and I were in Galveston for a wedding and rented Molly's Dune for 5 nights in April 2015. The property was very clean in a nice neighborhood and easy to get to. On the Friday night we had severe weather and the property owner called to make sure we were ok we thought that was a kind thing for him to do. Our only complaint would be a lack of drawer space for clothes.

Wonderful getaway and family friendly!

My family was quite pleased with our stay. We pulled off Christmas dinner for a group in the well-stocked kitchen. The house was more than adequately prepped for our group, and a quick walk to the beach was lovely. Thanks for making our holiday on the road a success!

Very Fresh and Clean House, Everything you would every need is there for your use. Felt just like the house was brand new.

This was a great place to stay. We had everything that we needed and more! The furniture was very nice and the beds were all very comfortable. We would stay here again!

It was a great experience. Once you stepped into the house you felt at home. Loved the design and feel of the home. Everything was great from check-in to check-out. Also, it was a plus to use the Country Club pool!
